S3

Overview​

The AlphaSOC S3 Server is an implementation of the S3 protocol that accepts secure data uploads to the AlphaSOC S3 endpoint. AlphaSOC analyzes log files uploaded to the S3 endpoint by identifying security threats and detecting anomalies.

To transfer data, set up the following resources:

  • S3 Server Credentials in your AlphaSOC console.
  • data source that will forward log files to the AlphaSOC S3 Server.

The S3 endpoint enables telemetry submission from Corelight, Cribl, and other sources.

Generating S3 Server Credentials​

1. Log in to the AlphaSOC console.

2. Open the Credentials tab in AlphaSOC console.

3. In the S3 Server Credentials section, click New Credentials.

4. Click Generate in the confirmation dialog.
